4. Is it a private building or can you visit it?
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build?

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)
I chose this building because it had an interesting name and I wanted to see what the architecture looked like. I also chose it because it was in the UK and I know how they have a lot of beautiful open grassland and the name Eden reminded me of the biblical garden in Adam and Eve. When I saw it, it looked so interesting and I wanted to see what it was used for.

The name "Twisting Torso" sounded so appealing and I imagined a twisted building. I wanted to see how amazing that architecture would be. When I saw it looked really and so amazing that people actually live in it. It also stands out the most of the whole city in sweden and it also reminded me of a building in Dubai that also twists.

I chose this building because I thought it looked really interesting and futuristic to have been built in the 60's. I also wanted to know where in the United States it was located in and if it was an actual house or a museum. 7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)
I chose this building because it was a very interesting looking building seemingly to be made out of rocks. I also wanted to know more of the Spanish buildings and the area they were built in. I was also curious on who built it and if it was still some sort of hotel or condos for the wealthy. It really looked unique and makes you want to go visit it.

Action Photo shoot

Daniel is running towards me as the main subject from the the top of the field. He was about to attack me until i fell back at his charge.

Lauren is running across the field to Daniel as he he waits on the other side. This is her boyfriend that she has not seen in over a year.

This is the panning shot of Daniel running as fast as he can across the field. He is running to go beat up the guy that tried talking to Lauren.

In this blurry picture both subjects are completely blurred and Daniel is about to hit Lauren with a ball. He is mad at her for talking to the boy back.

Creating depth

The rule used in this photo is depth because you can see the horses and the grass on the ground to the hills and mountains, all the way to the high sky with clouds.

Saudi Arabians take matters into their own hands

A Saudi Arabian man along with his army go on a strike yesterday afternoon at the town square and try to set towns on fire with home-made bombs. They are upset with the U.S soldiers taking over their towns.

Japanese Earthquake!!

Shows how tough it was for everyone to go through this tragedy just as this woman can't help but cry. The photographer took this picture in simplicity as the subject that is in important here is the woman crying. He blurred the background a little so we could fully emphasize of the woman's emotions.
This shows how much everything was buried into the ground and how disastrous the tsunami was. The photographer shot this with the composition of viewpoint from the ground so it emphasizes the mess and the soldiers in the background.

This is a good photograph that captured how the water took over the city. It's shot in depth so that you're able to see everything being hit. From the mountains in the background to the water hitting the streets. It's crazy to see how exactly the water striking started to hit the city.

Front Pages of the World

My favorite newspaper front page of the world is "The Examiner" of Washington D.C because it's got a lot of stories and information even though it may look to crowded up together, that's how I would enjoy reading a newspaper. My favorite headline is "Looking to kill" because it interests me on a possible murder story in which stories like those appeal to almost everyone. There is only one full story. All newspaper front pages have in common that they all have headlines or have small paragraphs of all the stories within the newspaper. Things that very are the amount of headlines and stories there are and how many pictures there are.

Crawford Educational Complex is in 4191 Colts Way San Diego, California 92115.
This yearbook has 192 pages and there is 7 sections which are STUDENT LIFE, SENIORS, CLUBS, ATHLETICS,UNDERCLASS, FACULTY, CLOSING. Some of the sports played here are tennis, football, cheer-leading, volleyball, track, soccer, basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball, badminton, and golf. Some of the clubs students can join here are yearbook, CHAMPs, JROTC, peer helping, video, mecha (heritage club), and cheer. The school colors are white, blue, and crimson. The theme of this yearbook is Crimson, white and blue always. In each section the titles are three words like"crimson white blue" and each page has the same ribbon on it and the colors are throughout every page. This book has been published for five years now. The editors in chief are Crysany Smith and Sara Tall. The advisor is Kelcie Butcher. My favorite spread was the cheerleader spread because I liked how the pictures were put on there and how there was chants written out at the bottom of the spread. I liked how the yearbook theme was expressed throughout the whole book but if I had to change it I would have added a more appealing theme. Yes I would like to go to that school because they seem very school spirited and it seems like they have a lot of activities to choose from.

Cover Types

In magazines, the have four different types of covers for it. There's the early magazine covers, the poster cover, pictures married to type, and the forest of words cover.

In the earliest magazine covers starting in the 1700s they didn't really have covers but dedicated the first page with the title and just the table of contents. They usually looked like book-like layouts and just a small illustration. They usually had pictures that revealed nothing about the content inside of it. So generally most magazines didn't have covers and if they did it was mainly to put the table of contents on.

In the poster cover magazines became the type of magazine cover that became the most popular for a period of time. It was mostly artwork and the covers on the over sized magazines looked as if you could post them up as a poster, hence the name. It was good way to show off art work as well. In the 20th century, instead of art displayed it was photographs and sometimes used for magazine covers to portray a special issue and directed to more upscale readers. The main reason to use poster covers is the competition of the audience attention over all the covers because with just one thing on it, the main focus, will call more attention over the interesting issue, whatever it may be.

The difference between the the poster covers and married to type is that married to type's purpose were the big headlines to help draw more attention. Having words around the focus helps sometimes at depth and contrast of colors. This poster cover did not beat the attention to the poster cover but then during the 70's it was better, a magazine that had no cover lines. It was used mostly in fashion magazines that accentuated the nature of what fashion is. Then most of married to type covers changed and there was more words and now sometimes in front of some of the picture and became an advertiser type.

Photoshop Fun!

My Holiday Break

During the entire break I flew down by myself to LA to visit all my family that I hadn't seen for a year. Every single day I was over there I did something fun but my highlight was getting a tattoo in Hollywood and going to the Laker game. It was amazing sitting there at a real game and cheering on my team.

This year I have many resolutions for myself. I plan to lose weight and get back to shape with my gym membership. I won't be to school late anymore and will go to sleep early every night. I need to find a new job so that when I'm in college I have a steady job. This year I looked forward to growing up more, starting college and beginning a new life style.

Biggest Sport Entertainer of 2011-Kobe Bryant

I think the biggest sport entertainment of every year until he retires will be Kobe Bryant because I am a dye hard Laker fan and he's a great MVP!! Every time basketball season comes around and the Lakers make it to the championship (: Kobe always excels. Watching him play gets you all hyped up and anxious because you expect him to make every shot he goes for and to me he never dissapoints.

Most Important Person of 2011-Hilary Clinton

I thought Hilary Clinton was the most important person because I think she's an extraordinary smart woman that should of deserved a position of being our president and change America's perception of women forever. Even though she didn't make it to be president I'm glad she made it into office as our secretary of state.

Most Important News Story of 2011-Prince Williams marries Catherine Middleton

I chose this as the most important news story because everyone wanted to see who the next queen of England was going to be!! It was exciting to see who Prince William chose to be his wife and queen and I thought Catherine or "Kate" was a good pick. It was interesting to see how massive and elegant the wedding was and how beautiful everything looked.

Favorite movie of 2011- Breaking Dawn

Even though I'm not a Twilight die hard fan I really liked this movie and the whole plot as well as the ending. It got me to want to be more into the Twilight saga and I can't wait for part two to come out. It was really romantic yet funny and at times it left me with anticipation because I thought Bella was going to die. This was a good movie that highlights 2012 because the day it came out it had everyone waiting in line to see it and now I get why.

Best Song of 2012- You Da One by Rihanna

I personally love all of Rihanna's songs for they are all catching and have good beats but I thought this one was one of her greatest. I liked what the lyrics were and the way she sang it. It was good for 2011 because it is a very popular song of her new album and had an appealing music video along with it. She had many hit songs this year as her own character developed even more and as her look kept changing.

Three Favorites of 2011

This was one of my favorites because I thought it was the most important for the tenth year of 911 never comes again and it's great way to commemorate it.

This one I liked also because it was great news to our country and especially our heroes and it was a great relief for everyone.

This was also a great picture and a reminder of a huge devastation happening to Japan this year, one of our allies.
