Trevor is a kid from the neighborhood that lives for basketball because ever since he was little he couldn't get enough of it and is the biggest yet littlest Laker fan yet. He lives in the projects so his mom would always tell him that she didn't have the money to provide him a decent place where he could practice his love for basketball, so he would instead improvise with objects around him to be able to play games against other kids from the neighborhood.
